Methyl Tin Mercaptide GT-181

GT-181 is a high-performance heat stabilizer that offers excellent heat stability and superior color retention. Products processed with Tin Stabilizer GT-181 show outstanding transparency, clear color, minimal gas generation, and no educt formation. During processing, GT-181 provides excellent high-temperature stability, color stability, and long-term dynamic performance, while preventing fouling and reducing the need for frequent equipment cleaning. GT-181 is suitable for all types of flexible and rigid PVC processing, including calendaring, extrusion, injection, and blow molding. It can be effectively used in a wide range of PVC applications, such as films for thermal shrinking packaging, printing, calendaring, and twisting, as well as clear flexible and rigid sheets, advertisement sheets, and compound sheets. It is also ideal for PVC granules, electronic apparatus shells, building and construction materials like drinking water pipes, chemical pipes, profiles, and other construction materials, along with medical apparatus, food packaging materials, and daily-use appliances.   Under the same processing conditions, a smaller amount of methyl tin mercaptide is required compared with butyl tin or octyl tin to achieve the same stabilizing effect, making GT-181 a highly efficient choice for high-quality PVC production. Packing: GT-181 is supplied in iron drums with plastic coating or in plastic buckets. It is also available in plastic drums, with each drum weighing 220 kg.

Organotin Stabilizers

GREETAI offers a well-established line of organotin heat stabilizers, including methyltin, butyltin, and octyltin mercaptides, as well as carboxylates, which are particularly effective in stabilizing rigid PVC compounds. Our organotin stabilizers are widely used across various applications, including house siding, window profiles, and PVC pipes. Certain organotins are also approved for FDA-regulated use in food contact applications, such as blown bottles and blister packs.   All of our organotin types, whether sulfur-containing or sulfur-free, provide outstanding clarity and enhanced appearance to rigid PVC compounds. Even vinyl products that require outdoor weather resistance, such as house siding, can be effectively stabilized with our specially formulated organotin stabilizers. In addition to excellent clarity, these stabilizers deliver long-term dynamic stability, ensuring consistent performance and durability over time.

Phosphite Co-Stabilizers

Phosphite co-stabilizers are widely used in PVC formulations in combination with mixed metal stabilizers to enhance overall performance. Organic phosphites play a crucial role in protecting the properties of many polymers, performing a variety of functions, including maintaining transparency, preserving initial color, and reinforcing the effectiveness of primary antioxidants as thermal and processing stabilizers in polyolefins, elastomers, and engineering plastics. They also improve the service life, durability, and weatherability of plastics used in outdoor applications. In addition to PVC, phosphite co-stabilizers are commonly incorporated into polyolefins, polyurethane, and other polymer resins to provide enhanced stability during processing and long-term performance. Their use ensures that polymers retain their mechanical properties, appearance, and functional integrity even under harsh thermal or environmental conditions.
